It also offers "soft" core skills which will enable young campers to be better future leaders.
"Learning Labs" taught in the field will include topics such as conflict resolution, stress management and the power of "production thinking". These labs will provide group members with "tolls" that they can utilize at school or within their community.
This experience is designed to provide campers with special knowledge starting with group bonding exercises on Day 1 to a peak experience on Day 5 with the high ropes course at The Bangor YMCA Wilderness Center at Camp Jordan. It is facilitated by Eric Taylor, LCSW, etaylor@bangorY.org.
